A UK registered Paramedic for almost 25 years including working for UK ambulance services in many operational, supervisory and managerial sectors. Since then he has worked operationally in the private medical/remote medicine arena, extensively in numerous education sectors teaching clinical skills/theory at all levels and specialises in developing evidence based education for Pre-Hospital care. Numerous clinical and educational deployments in Europe, Asia, North America, Central America Africa, The Middle East & Polar regions.
Our select pool of clinical educators are hand picked via an observed teaching process for their qualifications, experience, background and character and have always been known to us for an extensive period. UK Paramedic with NHS, HEMS and private medical company experience. Extensive Pre-hospital care knowledge. Experienced operational Paramedic and instructor of high level Pre-hospital educational courses. Experienced RNLI Crew-member on both inshore & all-weather lifeboats and is also a lifeguard and lifeguard Instructor/Examiner.
James is currently a Specialist Paramedic (Critical Care) working for GWAAC, but prior to this he has worked nationally & internationally including time with the UK HART, in New Zealand where he helped to develop a paramedic practitioner scheme and as a UK Education Manager for a Pre-hospital education provider. James is also interested in wilderness medicine which has seen him working from the jungles of Borneo to the Swedish Arctic.
Scott is a Critical Care Paramedic in the UK with nearly 20 years experience. He is a known advocate of high quality patient centred care with a keen focus on exquisite “Basic” care. Scott is also a passionate instructor of multiple courses including ALS, PHPLS & the UK lead instructor for the Difficult Airway Course EMS with a specific intent on the candidate learning rather than the instructor teaching.
Aidan is a passionate Paramedic researcher originally from Sydney Australia now at Medical School. He is a regularly invited speaker on Paramedic related topics, EBM, Point of care ultrasound and Trauma sciences. He is a fierce advocate for the role that Point of Care Ultrasound is increasingly playing in Pre-Hospital setting; both in critical care & low acuity settings.
Phil is a Paramedic and ECG Instructor that is passionate about delivering great patient care, mentoring, empowering others & teaching clinical skills. Phil was awarded the Diploma in ECG Interpretation (Society for Cardiological Science and Technology) in 2017. Phil has joined our team to deliver courses on acute cardiovascular care including ECG.
Will is an experienced paramedic & senior lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire. He has a BSc (Hons) in Paramedic Science from UoH & a MSc in Paediatrics & Child Health from Imperial College London. He continues to practice as a paramedic in London & South Central regions and is a Trustee and Director of Professional Practice for the College of Paramedics. Will has a special interest in developing paediatric education for paramedics.
Sammy is an Intensive Care Registrar & Pre-Hospital Doctor in the South East UK with an interest in Sports Medicine working for the Football Association. Sammy had a passion for Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) since medical school and is currently undertaking a full time PHEM training post with KSS Air Ambulance. She has an keen interest in human factors, crew resource management, Pre-hospital airway management and major trauma.
Simon has a breadth of Pre-hospital experience as a Paramedic & ten years as a SAR Winchman/MRT member. He holds a Masters in Critical Care & prior to joining the NHS was a University lecturer with over a decade of experience teaching up to Masters level. When he has a moment to himself he may be seen running/cycling around the hills of Snowdonia.
Ryan is an Emergency Medicine Registrar in the East of England with a passion for Pre-hospital care, ultrasound & education. He is currently undertaking a fellowship in in simulation & is an associate lecturer at Anglia Ruskin Medical School. Ryan has a keen interest in airway management & has a fellowship in anaesthetics & critical care. He regularly instructs on ALS, PHTLS & HF courses and is involved in BASICS.
James is an experienced Paramedic & currently works as Course Leader Paramedic Science (Professional Pathway) at Staffordshire University. He has a BSc from the University of Worcester and is currently studying for a PGCert in Higher and Professional Education at Staffordshire University and an LLM at University of Wolverhampton. James has a special interest in high fidelity simulation, law and professional practice. James serves as a Justice of the Peace and is a member of the Academy of Medical Educators.

As a way of developing our next generation faculty & supporting the modernisation of our profession we are shortly appointing a small team of highly educated & enthusiastic Pre-Hospital clinicians who will work alongside our faculty to gain the experience to become future clinical leaders and educators.
Callum completed his training & Bachelors Degree at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia before moving to London and starting as a paramedic with the London Ambulance Service. He currently works on the Tactical and Joint Response Unit in London working with police to provide care to patients in high threat zones. He has a passion for education and the paramedic profession with a focus on civilian tactical medicine, trauma, cardiac/resuscitation and critical care, he is currently completing his Masters in Critical Care at Monash University.
Jonny has been a paramedic since 2012 after studying a BSc (Hons) Paramedic Practitioner degree at the University of Plymouth & has further studied Out of Hospital Acute Cardiac Care MSc modules in cardiac arrest & advanced ECG interpretation at Anglia Ruskin University. A passion for mentorship & teaching has led him to work as a station practice placement educator, mentor & a role as a bank learning support officer. He has a particular passion for electrocardiography, resuscitation & silver trauma.
Fin is a Paramedic working for both the NHS and Private providers delivering care in front-line and event medicine settings, qualifying from the University of Worcester in 2017 and moving to the South East of England to continue practice and consolidate his learning through his newly qualified period. Fin has worked in the event medicine field since 2012, also having the opportunity to work in crisis and disaster management on significant mass casualty incidents. Passionate about learning and education he is a mentor to new staff and student paramedics. Fin has developed interests in Palliative Care, Human Factors and Trauma care.
